Grady & Wren: 11 Months

Grady's Stats: 18 lbs ? oz

Wren's Stats: 20 lbs ? oz

Grady's Clothing & Diaper Size: 9 month sleepers and 6-12 month onesies/one-piece outfits; Size 3 diapers.

Wren's Clothing & Diaper Size: 9 month sleepers and 6-12 month onesies/dresses; Size 3 diapers.

Special Outings: On Tuesday, April 12, we went to Norman for a play-date at Brandi, Britton, and Landon's house. Your favorite part was playing with Britton and Landon's musical instruments.

On Saturday, March 16, Dad and I took you to the playground in our neighborhood and you swung for the first time.

Milestones: Grady, you can clap your hands now and when you hear music, you dance this little groove and shake your head back and forth. We played the song "Thrift Shop" and you started grooving. We couldn't catch the best part on video, but we did get some of it recorded. You are a man on the move and love to crawl around and explore. You also pull up to your knees when you crawl over to the couch or if you are in your crib. We lowered both crib mattresses a few weekends ago.

Wren, you now wave "hi" and "bye-bye", you're starting to learn how to do the sign for "more," and you know Daddy's name and have occasionally said Da-Da in reference to Daddy. You aren't crawling forward but are still scooting backwards. You love to pull up when we hold our hands out in front of you, and you've started to really cling to us when we hold you. You get especially clingy when we try to put you down. We call you a little sloth because you love to hang on us and your grip is so strong.

Grady, you have a total of 7 teeth (3 bottom teeth and 4 top teeth). Wren, you have a total of 4 teeth (2 bottom teeth and 2 top teeth).

My Thoughts:  Lately, my mind has been reflecting over these past 11 months with thankfulness that I've been able to stay home with you two. Various things have reminded me how fortunate I am to be afforded this opportunity. Honestly, there have been days where I've wished otherwise but deep in my heart I can't imagine not being the one who spends everyday with you.

Your dad and I are thoroughly enjoying watching your personalities develop and we are constantly entertained by your antics. I love watching how you interact with each other. I pray you will not just be twin siblings but dear friends all of your lives.

Routine:
These days our routine looks roughly like this:
6:00am Feed (bottle) [More like 4:00am lately!]
6:30am-8:00am Nap/Quiet play
9:30am Feed (breakfast)
11:00am-12:00pm Nap
12:30pm Feed (lunch & bottle)
2:00pm-3:00pm Nap
5:00pm Feed (dinner)
7:00pm Feed (bottle)
7:30pm Bedtime

Favorites: Ruby dog, egg shaker instruments that you got for Easter, colored boomerang links from Grammy, a cool whip bowl (and other plastic containers from the kitchen), & wooden clothespins.

Dislikes:  Grady, you dislike being sick with continuous ear infection(s) and taking tumbles which cause you to bonk your head (which is happening a lot lately). Wren, you dislike being sat down and not being held constantly.

Food:  You are down to 3 (approximately 8 ounce) bottles a day now and still on Target's generic of Similac Sensitive Isomil Soy Formula (Up & Up Infant Soy). You are both eating the following foods cut up into small pieces: bananas, avocados, sweet potatoes, apples, peas, strawberries, waffles, toast, and you are still eating many of the Ella's Kitchen or Earth's Best baby organic baby food pouches. You also snack on puffs, plain cheerios, and yogurt melts. We have also started giving you food that Dad and I eat such as chicken spaghetti casserole, food from Easter lunch at Oma & PawPaw's house, and hummus.
